1974~1985

1974 (6 years old)

has her first performance on stage, in Los Angeles, California.

1976 (8 years old)

passes the audition of the "Young Musicians Foundation", and performs in various elementary schools in the Los Angeles area.

1977 (9 years old)

goes into the final stage of the audition organized by the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Gives numerous performances with the USC Orchestra.

1979 (11 years old)

starts her annual solo recitals in Tokyo, at the Nihon Kogyo Club (the annual recitals continue in the same hall every year until 1984).

1980 (12 years old)

Gives a solo recital in California, and also at the "International Harp Week" held in Maastricht, Holland.

1981 (13 years old)

Second place winner at the First International Harp Contest held in Rome.

1983 (15 years old)

Appears as soloist with the Osaka Philharmonic, duo recitals with flutist Chang-Kook Kim.

1985 (17 years old)

July: First place winner at the Ninth International Harp Contest in Israel, and appears as soloist with the Israel Philharmonic conducted by Zubin Mehta.
October: gives her formal debut recital in Tokyo, at the Bunka Kaikan Small Hall.
